Quick answers

Short, practical answers to the most common POSYX questions.

Can I keep selling when the internet goes off?
Yes. POSYX is built to work offline. Sales and changes are saved locally first, then automatically sync when you’re online again.
How does stock update in POSYX?
Stock is derived from movements (purchases, adjustments, sales, supplier receipts). You don’t directly “edit stock” — you record what happened.
What does the Online/Offline indicator mean?
It shows your current connection status. Offline means changes will queue locally and sync later.
Where can I see if anything is still waiting to sync?
In the dashboard top bar you’ll see sync/online indicators. If you’re offline, keep working — pending items will sync once you reconnect.
How do I receive a supplier order into stock?
Go to Receive Orders, pick an order, enter received quantities, then complete receiving. This creates stock movements that increase inventory.
