Troubleshooting

Fix common issues quickly

Most issues are connection or workflow related. Use the quick fixes below to get back to selling.

I’m offline — can I keep working?

  • Yes. POSYX saves your work locally first.
  • Continue processing sales and recording movements.
  • When online again, keep the dashboard open so background sync can complete.

Something isn’t syncing

  • Confirm you are online (top bar indicator).
  • Leave the app open for a few minutes so auto-sync can retry.
  • If an error persists, note what you were doing (sale, product edit, receiving) and contact support.

Stock looks wrong

  • Remember: stock is derived from movements (sales, purchases, adjustments, supplier receipts).
  • Review recent Stock Adjustments and Cash Purchases.
  • If needed, run a Stock Count to match physical inventory.

Sales history is missing a transaction

  • If you were offline, the sale may still be pending sync.
  • Confirm you’re online, then give the app time to sync.
  • Check Sales History again, or search by invoice number if available.

I can’t receive an order

  • Only receivable statuses can be received (pending/ordered/partial).
  • If the order was already received or cancelled, it won’t be receivable.
  • If the order list is empty, there may be nothing ready to receive right now.
